Replacement Vehicle

We know it’s important for you to continue earning income as a rideshare driver if your vehicle is damaged. That’s why we have fleet of CPV approved vehicles to provide you a rideshare ready replacement vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired.
What type of vehicle do we provide?
We’ll do our best to supply a comparative vehicle where possible, within the categories of :

  • Hatchback
  • Sedan
  • MID/Large SUV

The hire vehicle provided will be safety rating approved on the Uber and other rideshare platforms. We will provide you with the documents required to onboard the vehicle on rideshare platform of your choice.
How long will a hire vehicle be provided for?
Rideshare Replacement vehicle after a not at fault incident
if we agree it was the other driver’s fault and you provide the at-fault driver’s details we will provide you a replacement vehicle if your car cannot be driven from the date of the incident to the earliest of:

  • The date your vehicle is repaired, or
  • The date we settle the claim

Rideshare hire vehicle after an at fault incident
You can select this cover as an add on to your Comprehensive cover. We will provide you with a replacement vehicle if your car cannot be driven from the date of the incident to the earliest of

  • The date your vehicle is repaired, or
  • The date we settle the claim

Where this optional cover is not selected, you will be offered a replacement vehicle at market rates.
